Poole's Mill Park
A one-of-kind passive park, Poole's Mill is 10 acres of property that showcases a unique covered bridge. The Bridge, built in 1901, spans the shoals of Settendown Creek. After periods of disrepair, the structure was converted from private ownership and dedicated as a county park in 1997. The park, on the National Historic Registry, offers residents the opportunity to picnic, walk and reminisce about the history of a bygone era.

Central Park
5-Youth Baseball/Softball Fields, 4-Adult Softball Fields, 3-Soccer Fields, 8-Tennis Courts, 27-Hole Disc Golf Course, Playground, Picnic Pavilion, Mountain Bike Trail & Recreation Center. The Recreation Center includes 2-Gymnasiums, Fitness Area, Mezzanine Walking Area, Arts & Crafts Room, Dance Room, Community/Meeting Rooms with a small Kitchen.

Lake Lanier
Lake Lanier touches seven Georgia counties: Dawson, Forsyth, Habersham, Hall, Gwinnett, Lumpkin and White. The confluence of the Chattahoochee and Chestatee Rivers and many creeks and streams provides a continuous flow of fresh water for the lake. As part of the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint waterway system, this fresh water then becomes a source of drinking water for millions of Georgians. Internationally recognized for its resources, tourist attractions and beauty, Lake Lanier was the host venue for the 1996 Olympic Canoeing and Kayak events.
